Why? … Why not? You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only true love, right? Then you’ll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices:
1) Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet
2) Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some fun artistic images while you do it! You can even include him in the fun!

To ensure your portrait is as beautiful as can be:

1. Schedule your session sometime after the wedding.

2. This session is about creation, not destruction...but your dress may get a little dirty, or a little wet

3. Start thinking about props! Whatever reflexs your personality. Consider a beach, a park, a Harley Davidson , or any location special to you. We can also utilize larger objects such as boats, sport cars, or planes.

4. Become alert to interesting photographs. Look out for artictic postcards or magazine advertisements. We can often recreate art with you as the subject.

5. While we are creating your Trash the Dress portrait, if you want include your groom, or even your bridesmaids can get in on the fun.

6. Have Fun!

The photographer will take 50 to 100 different images. Bring along any props, pets, family, or friends. Your images will be online for viewing and ordering. Because we specialize in unique, artistic portraits, Crouse Photography only schedules one portrait session per day. So call today to get that perfect date.
