What to Expect

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding. Once the shock begins to wear off, you’re probably going to have a lot of questions about the whole wedding process. But don’t worry; Crouse Photography has been designed to help you make planning your wedding photography as easy and stress-free as possible.

In order to get you to the big day in one piece, we’ve simplified everything into small easy steps. You’ll have a free consultation to meet Roxanne, the photographer, and she will show you samples from other weddings. Together you will discuss your photographic needs and Roxanne will give you advice to help make your ideas a reality. If you decide Crouse Photography is for you, we will complete a wedding contract and a 1/3 payment of your total wedding package to reserve your wedding date.

For the next couple of months you won’t need to think about photography again. Crouse Photography will do all the thinking for you. If you have an engagement session or bridal session before the wedding, we will contact you when it is time to schedule the appointment so you won’t have to think about it. When the 30 day planning session and payment are due, we will contact you so you don’t have to try and remember. Crouse Photography will make a photographic schedule for you based on the information you give us during the planning session. We will type it up and send you copies to give out to your family members and bridal party so everyone will be prepared, and save you the time making one yourself.

Crouse Photography knows a lot about weddings and we are always happy to share that information with couples. We periodically send out e-mails and letters with great planning ideas and information. Roxanne has shared in many weddings and may have the right answer for you. And always remember, this is your once in a life time experience, anything you want on the wedding day Roxanne will be more than happy to do. Whether it’s going to a park location or a family shot with 80 people, just let us know and with careful planning everything is possible.

Our custom planning sessions…
It is important to Crouse Photography your wedding day run smoothly and stress free. That is why thirty days before your wedding date we will schedule a planning session to create the perfect photography schedule for you. This is also an opportunity for us to get to know you better and give the couple the opportunity to be involved with every photographic decision. It takes patient and careful planning to create portraits that are pleasing to our clients and so satisfying for us personally.

The Rehearsal
The photographer will attend the rehearsal at the ceremony location for all packages. It is important for the photographer to meet everyone before the wedding day, and help coordinate the ceremony for the best possible photographic results. Because it is not always possible for us to attend some rehearsals due to distance, the booking of other weddings, etc., there is no charge or time taken away from your package for rehearsal attendance.

NOTE All prices are subject to change without notice. West Virginia sales tax of 6% will be added to all above packages. A minimum $ 50 travel fee will be added to all weddings or portraits 30 miles outside of Martinsburg, and $300 minimum for more than 50 miles. A 1/3 minimum retainer is required to hold the date of the wedding at time of contract signing, which will count towards the selected package. The remaining balance will be due 30 days before the wedding. ALL RETAINERS PAID WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE.
