A special Session For The Bride

Here at Crouse Photography, we understand that your Bridal Portrait exists to mark where you were at this time in your life. Your expectations and your beauty may change, that is why you want to document this special time for you and begin capturing memories that last a lifetime. To ensure your portrait is as beautiful as can be, try to follow these suggested guidelines:

1. Schedule your portrait a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding day. The sooner the better! This allows time for lab processing.

2. The bridal portrait is, in many respects, a dress rehearsal for the wedding day. Schedule your hair and make-up practice session and your last dress fitting for the same day as your bridal session.

3. Start thinking about props! This can make your photograph unique. Consider a ornate mirror, a window, a musical instrument, or any location special to you. We can also utilize larger objects such as boats, sport cars, planes, or motorcycles.

4. Don’t worry about location! Once you make an appointment, we will discuss location and time with you. Just tell us what you envision. You can choose studio portraits or numerous outdoor locations.

5. Become alert to interesting photographs. Look out for romantic postcards or magazine advertisements. We can often recreate art with you as the subject.

6. Keep in mind, if your session is scheduled far enough in advance, you can utilize your Bridal Portrait to display at your reception or to include in the Wedding announcements or to distribute framed as the perfect party favor or bridal party gift.

7. While we are creating your bridal portrait, if you have a sister, a brother, or a best friend you would like a portrait, bring them along. We can just as easily do two or three sittings at the same time. Give Mom that family portrait she has been wanting. We can even shoot some of the posed shots to save time on the wedding day. Please discuss your ideas when scheduling your session.

8. Have Fun!

Your bridal session can be studio portraits or outdoors. The photographer will take 50 to 100 different images. Bring along any props, pets, family, or friends. Your images will be presented to you online for viewing. Because we specialize in unique, artistic portraits, Crouse Photography only schedules one portrait session per day. So call today to get that perfect date.
Session fee is $52 and includes an hour session and webhosting for ordering.
