| Myself I first became interested in photography in high school my senior year. I went to college at Shepherd where I majored in Music Education with a minor in Photography. It wasn't until after college that my interest in photography grew. I worked in a photo developing lab for 11/2 years and as a photographer's assistant at Wilson's Photography for almost 3 years improving my skills on my own. I am a member of PPA -Professional Photographers of America and am currently working towards my certification. I started my own business in 2001 and have been photographing weddings on my own ever since. I'm pleased to say I love my job and can't imagine doing anything else. I believe my love shows in my photographs. Being a woman is an advantage in wedding photography. I have been a bride myself and understand the emotional side of the event.
